Autumn is here and it’s time (if you have not done it already) to get your closet organized for the new season! This is something I would advise you to do BEFORE you start buying warmer clothes thinking you have nothing to wear. Here is post I did a while ago that I think would be helpful:
What we want is not always what we need. And that goes for clothes too! How is your closet doing? Organized or just a big mess? Either way, here you have three useful steps on how to organize your closet:
1) Don’t keep anything you don’t use in your closet. Get rid off things you no longer need and focus on things you like to wear. Simple rule and also a refreshing one.
2) Create different categories (depending on you lifestyle) so that you can organize your closet after your needs. One category could be “work”, another could be “party” or “sport”. Dividing your clothes like this will make it easier for you to find the right outfit for the right occasion.
3) Organize you closet after the seasons. Don’t keep your clothes for winter during summer time. Pack them down in boxes and put them away until you need them again. Your closet should reflect the season and separating “winter closet” from “summer closet” will make you appreciate you clothes more.
Make if fab people!
