Welcome to Déjà Vu – The Blog

Hey there!

Glad you found your way to my little world named Déjà Vu. My name is Hanna and I’m a swede living in Paris and even though my mother is dying to know am I not sure when I will move back to Sweden. Its been six years now since I packed my life in one suitcase and decided to move to this lovely city.

They say that home is where the heart is and my heart is here, in Paris and I started this blog to share fun and interesting things to discover about this city. This blog will also give you a look on things I like in life meaning fashion, food, music, art and interactions.

Welcome!

  1. Hi Hanna,

My name is Martine and I work for American Apparel. Every so often, we feature some of our favorite looks from blogs in a section on our website called Seen and Submitted. I came across your blog and we chose to feature one of your posts if that’s alright with you. It includes a thumbnail and link to your original post. Check out the links below.

  4. First and foremost, let me just say that I absolutely love your blog. I find you inspirational and a beautiful person. I wanted to know what the process for citizenship for Sweden would be for an outsider. I am a first generation American, my family is from Jamaica. I want to leave this country in the coming years.

  5. Hello. My name is Jada Wilkerson, and I’m a high school student at the Philadelphia High School For Girls. I recently created a documentary on the Black Natural Hair Movement and entered it in a scholarship contest. Although I completed the project and liked the result, I can see that there are areas that need improvement. I would love to have a short statement from you about your natural ethnic hair. I would not need a lot of footage. It would be great if you could email a short 1:00-2:00 minute video consisting of you talking about your (if any) experience with natural hair discrimination, what your hair means to you, and why you should have the right to wear it. I am entering the revised version of my film in the All American High School Film Festival, so I would need the footage at least by the beginning of February for editing purposes. The sooner the better. Thank You. I will be looking forward to your reply.
