Me and my hair have not always liked each other but things are on much better terms now. There were moments when I wanted it to be in certain ways and my hair did the exact opposite which made us both very frustrated. I did my best to find solutions and tried different products to make us both happy and after some time, we finally found our peace thanks to Shea Moisture. Their Coconut & Hibiscus line is the bomb and my hair loves every single ingredient.
For this look I twisted my hair using their “curl enhancing smoothie”. #twistoutonfleek
The other day, I read a post on IG about a french magazine that said Solange’s natural hair looked like armpit hair. My first reaction was : who da fuck got that much hair under their arms? Then I realized how racist and disrespectful that statement was. #dearignorantpeople

I can’t WAIT for this Saturday!!! It’s finally time for another NHA event in Paris. I went last year and I learned so much about my hair and I cant wait to learn more! The program for this year includes the biggest names in the naturalista world and I’m so exited to meet them all.
Who else is going?
Last Tuesday, I spent the whole day shooting for Dark&Lovely with a group of AMAZING ladies at Studio Zero in Paris. This was the first time for me doing a shoot like this and I had so much fun! We spent the day talking about hair, laughing and dancing like crazy. I could do this all day everyday! #IamDarkAndLovely #comingsoon
