Hey there folks!
Hope all is good on your side and that you’ve had a great summer. I just got back to work after four lovely weeks of vacation and I’m already back at it in full force! To all my people in Paris, Club S.W.E is back with a second edition of “Brocante Scandinave” and this time we will invade “Grand Train” with beautiful Scandinavian design. Our first edition at Nüba was very appreciated so we thought we do a second one. So, tell your friends to bring their friends and see you all on the 11th of September at Le Grand Train! #ClubSWE
Yesterday, my girl Maya (aka @lavielocale) hosted a launch party at Artéfact for her new guide called “Paris Cafés from A to Z”. This guide is an illustration themed guidebook to cafés in Paris for every letter of the alphabet. For this book, Maya teamed up with the very talented illustrator Yukiko Noritake and this guidebook is truly a beautiful piece of art. Visit @pariscafesfromatoz and find out where you can get your very own copy!

Last night, a good friend of mine celebrated her b-day at an Italian place called “Da Vito”. From the outside, “Da Vito” looks like any given pizza joint but in the back of the restaurant, behind that brown door will you find the beautiful bar “Moonshiner”. Folks, if you’re like me, a sucker for pizza and amazing cocktails, this is the spot to visit! It was my first time visiting last night and since I was in my feelings after losing a very important game against Italy, I needed a drink! So, when I saw that the drink “Last Minute” had “Swedish spices” in it, I was like: let’s drink one for Zlatan! As I place my order, one of the bartenders overheard our conversation and said “you’re swedish?”. I said “yes” and he goes “well that’s very obvious”. I could have killed him in so many ways but I decided to say “I know, riiiight?”. #bitchdontkillmyvibe
In connection to the Natural Hair Academy 2016, the founder of “The Butter Lab” and the team behind “Almost Parisienne” thought it would be great to connect for an after work before the event. Whether you’re an experienced guest or a first-time visitor, let’s meet up and share tips and expectations for the exciting day to come! We would love to meet other curlcentric people in Paris, from here or elsewhere so don’t hesitate to tell your friends to bring there friends. We are also interested in hearing about your creative projects whether they are in line with ours or within another fields like food, fashion, music etc so bring your cards people. More info here! #curlyconnections

When people ask what I do in Paris I always say “you mean other than eating?”. Good thing I’m blessed with the ability to digest food for five people because I just can’t stop tasting my way through this city! I need to tell you guys about a relatively new restaurant in the 18th that is called “Sunset” with a brunch that makes you wanna slap yo mama! The reason is their delicious homemade pancakes with whipped cream…game over!
My favorite thing to do after eating is eating some more! I know, I don’t post pictures of food on social media but boy do I EAT! An area that is getting more and more interesting foodwise is the 18th arr. and home to a new spot called “Noun”. I had dinner there with a friend the other day and we never wanted to leave! The food is amazing, the deco is super cozy and the desserts are to DIE for. Visit! #youcanthankmelater
